Hi, my name is Bilal El-Zaylaa, the creator and developer of Model Turbo.

My background is in Sustainability Engineering, and I have spent the last several years working in the residential construction and energy efficiency industry. During my time as an Energy Advisor, I saw firsthand how much of the modeling process involved repetitive data collection and manual work within HOT2000.

Like many advisors, I found myself spending valuable time on tasks that felt like they could be streamlined. Model Turbo was created to help address some of these inefficiencies by automating parts of the workflow and making the modeling process a little faster and easier.

I developed this tool for my own use at first, but after seeing the time it saved, I decided to make it available to others in the industry. Model Turbo is completely free and is intended to help energy advisors spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time doing the work they do best.
